Louis Certo, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Medical Director Circulatory Centers
A graduate of St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Dr. Certo earned his medical degree from the University of Rome in Italy. He then completed a five year residency in General Surgery here in the United States. He is on the staff at UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Passavant Cranberry. He also has surgical privileges at surgery centers in Erie, Austintown and Cleveland Ohio. Dr. Certo is Board Certified and Recertified in General Surgery. For the past ten years he has devoted most of his practice to venous surgery and has been associated with the Circulatory Centers since 1997. He is a current member of the American college of Phlebology.
Robert A. Musson, M.D.
Associate Medical Director/Staff Physician
Dr. Musson was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Akron in 1985, he attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, where he received his M.D. in 1989. After a three year residency in Family Medicine at Akron City Hospital, he became Board Certified in that field in 1992. He joined Circulatory Centers in 1992, and it was here that he received additional training in the field of Phlebology, or vein care medicine.
Dr. Musson is an Active Physician Member of The American College of Phlebology, the principal American professional society in Phlebology.
Dr. Musson is also an accomplished author and has written an informative book on the subject of varicose veins titled, “Varicose Veins and Spider Veins: Myths and Realities.” ^ Back to Top
Thomas A. Doyle, M.D.

Staff Physician
Dr. Doyle graduated from Princeton University in 1985 with a degree in Geology then earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City in 1989. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 1993. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Doyle is on staff at Sewickley Valley Hospital and has practiced in that emergency department since 1993. Peter T. Go, M.D.

Staff Physician
Dr. Go completed his B.S. in Pre-Med at the University of St. Thomas in Manila, Philippines in 1969 – where he also earned his Degree as an M.D. He completed his Surgical Residency at McKeesport Hospital and has operated a private practice in General Surgery in Somerset, PA for over nineteen years. Dr. Go also held the position as Chief of Surgery for Somerset Hospital and Meyerdale Medical Center for six years. Dr. Go is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons as well as the Board of Governors of The American Hernia Society, the founding member of the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, as well as an active member of the Wound Healing Society of America. ^ Back to Top
Jeffrey Goldblatt, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Goldblatt has performed more than 3,000 varicose vein procedures. Doctor Goldblatt graduated from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Following his residency, Doctor Goldblatt spent two years enlisted in the United States Air Force as chief of surgery at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia. After leaving the service, he established his private practice at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut where he specializes in general and vascular surgery. Doctor Goldblatt travels extensively, training in the most advanced treatments for varicose and spider veins.
June Henkels, APRN, BC

Nurse Practitioner
Ms. Henkels is a graduate of Carlow College, Pittsburgh, PA in 1999. She graduated with honors becoming a member of Sigma Theta Tau international Honor Society of Nursing. She received her ANCC certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner shortly thereafter. Her accomplishments include ACLS, PALS provider status, as well as membership in the Laurel Highlands Nurse Practitioner Association, joining the staff of Circulatory Centers in 2007, in the Somerset and Monroevile offices. ^ Back to Top
Molly A. Jubeck, MPA-C

Physician Assistant
Ms. Jubeck was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of Duquesne University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and a Master of Physician Assistant. After becoming Board Certified, she was hired by UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Cardiovascular Cardiothuracic Surgery team. Ms. Jubeck practiced there for ten years before joining Circulatory Centers in 2008 where she received additional training in sclerotherapy. ^ Back to Top
Sharon L. Montgomery, PA-C

Physician Assistant
Sharon is a graduate of Alderson – Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia. She began with Circulatory Centers in 1986.
Sharon was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Science and becoming nationally certified as a Physician Assistant, she began training with Dr. Katz (founder of Circulatory Centers) in 1986. She now sees patients in the office and assists in surgery. ^ Back to Top
Lisa Perez, M.D.

Dr. Lisa Perez was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. She moved to the Atlanta area in 2000 and has been an active member of the medical community. She joined the Circulatory Center team in 2011.^ Back to Top
Paul Shields, D.O.

Staff Physician
Dr. Paul Shields completed his undergraduate studies at Gannon University in Erie, PA. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. Dr. Shields subsequently completed a three year Family Medicine residency and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). Dr. Shields practices medicine full time in the Erie area and serves as the medical director of the Pennsylvania Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home. ^ Back to Top
Jennifer Snavely, D.O.
Dr. Snavely received her under graduate in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania before attending Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she graduated in 2006 as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her internship at Delaware Coutny Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, PA and her residency with Altoona Family Physicians in Altoona, PA. Dr. Snavely joined the Circulatory Center team in 2010 as the lead physician of our State College office after extensive training with our experienced physicians.
Janette Vodhanel, M.S.N., C.N.P.

Nurse Practitioner
Janette was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Youngstown State University and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Kent State University in the Adult Nurse Practitioner program. She is Board Certified in her specialty through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Janette is a member of the Ohio Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and The American College of Phlebology. She is also a provider of Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support through the American Heart Association.
Janette joined Circulatory Centers in the spring of 2004 where she received additional training in vein treatment and vein care. ^ Back to Top
Carol Ann White, M.D.

Dr. Carol White did her undergraduate and graduate studies in medicine at West Virginia University. She graduated in 1999 and did her residency at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Dr. White is Board Certification in Emergency Medicine and was an Emergency Room Physician at Ruby Memorial Hospital and then Monongalia General Hospital before joining the Circulatory Center team. She was also a Wound Care Specialist at Monongalia General Hospital Wound Healing Center in Morgantown. Dr. White joined the Circulatory Centers in 2010 where she received additional training with our medical directors in the specialty field of Phlebology. ^ Back to Top
Brenda Williams, M.D.

Staff Physician
Dr. Williams, was born and raised in Ohio. She completed her B.S. in Animal Science at the University of Minnesota before returning to attend the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus. After graduating in 1984 Dr. Williams moved to Pittsburgh to complete a residency in Family Practice at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital. Following a two year baptism in the emergency rooms of Forbes Regional and Forbes Metropolitan Hospitals, she happily joined the Circulatory Centers staff in 1989. After a brief hiatus for family-time in 2000/2001 we were pleased to welcome her back on staff. Dr. Williams is Board Certified in Family Practice. ^ Back to Top
